Ohhhh~ What a way to start my blog post, talking about some 'shit' ass~
I want my rest of the blog to stay positive, thus I shall kick your face out of this blog right now.


YAY I finally saw my fruits of labour come into reality. Those beautiful, shiny and good chocolates made from Korea imported chocolate. Taught to me by the 2 personnel from chocoelf. Okay, I gotta admit they were a bit intimidating and strict about EVERYTHING that comes into the making of chocolates, but I really appreciate your help man!!! You people showed me the importance of starting with a good environment, good equipment, good moulds and others, before a nice shiny chocolate is being crafted. Everything coming into contact or related to the process should be maintained in optimum conditions. Very very specific, I realize. Even air temperature slight deviations could get you unsatisfactory results. Not to mention about the smoothness, quality, of the mould and all other things.

So more on my birthday? Ohhh, not as pitiful as I thought it would be. I had a really nice little surprise @ N6, directly at the main entrance. Most of the FYP buddies, mostly Thailand Friends, All gave me such a nice surprise lor~

I got a waffle-pancake as their B'Day cake to me, with the help of a LARGE kitchen knife, and then a funky B'Day card they made when I was not around. Bad girl is Hui Wen, bluff me said that 'someone' was looking for me. Wahahaha~ But I am surprised, and very very happy and glad you people bothered with the fuss!!!

Then after that, I went spamming at the arcade with my rare imoto-vera-chan. Wow, as soon as we finished dinner @ South Canteen, we headed off to Juncti8n and spammed like, 3X4 games. Along tagged was these 2 slightly irratating guys that wanted all 4 playing together. Nice, but they ain't my standard yet. No no, maybe I should just say, I'm too good with the songs I play? Yes, that'll be the good description. They also fared better than me at other songs that I rarely played (due to not obtained yet, or simply not interested in playing them).


I went home, and then I got another B'Day cake lor. Mango Cake, with fresh, thick, slices of juicy tangy mango on the secondmost top layer, followed by an agar jelly layer. Huahuahua~ Not bad leh the cake :) :)

HAHA. I had a great weekend. With my dear evil-istic imototachi... ... but they were great despite that single fact.

But what fun?
Here goes: A very great dinner at Pepper Lunch. Seriously, I miss the friends there, now that I realize it. Anyway, gonna start work until my FYP ends. Work amount will depend on the progress of FYP.
And then there was the little stroll around Spotlight @ Plaza Sing. Talking about Plaza Sing, it has recently become our favouite haunt.XD And the girls SERIOUSLY know how to apparate right around a corner. I was like: "What the fuck?!".
Then we went o a place called OTAKU HOUSE. I sound as if I have not gone there before LMAO. Of course I did. I just want to thank my imoto again for realizing my cosplay dreams. I am prepared to enter cosplay liao. Thanks to them buying the Haori for me. I seriously Appreciate it, and once again, thanks.
We then tried our luck at Bleach Card Gum. This one is at $6 per pack, with a piece of bubble gum, and a foil acrylic card of a character. Nice lor, the ones I got.


Well, I'm Proud as a Jubeat fan. Cause I am going to bring my earphones to Plaza Sing EVERYTIME I'm playing JUBEAT. THEY HAVE THE SPEAKERS WITH THE 3.5mm audio jack, means that YOU CAN LITERALLY PLUG IN AND ENJOY!!! FUCK MAN IT'S GONNA BE SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

I am feeling super duper irritated by this week.


Completely no sense of achievement. Damn irritated like mad. WHY?!


Firstly, I found myself having nothing to do. Was worried, and worried still. Like as if all my work was complete. It's scary. 


Then, I felt like I'm wasting all the world's time on TV, or other sources of entertainment, like FB or blogging. It's so wasted seriously. I hate it, this stupid feeling of having-all-the-time-in-the-world-but-spends-it-on-tv-and-other-meaningless-stuff-when-you-could-well-be-doing-something-else-more-fruitful-like-research-and-so-on ? And think of all those useful spammage or stuff I could have done?!!!


Arrrgh. Anyway, I kinda feel like I screwed up this week. Stupid me. I even lost my patience at the chocolate I was supposed to be tempering. Asking someone (yup, yours truly :( ) with a particularly thin patience on a certain timing of the day to do chocolate is simply disastrous. All I did was to idiotically lose it all and start 'abusing' the poor chocolate. 


I started off with that sickening cocoa powder and butter. I intended to mix the two together into something more liquid, but I lost my common sense, they turned out into lumps of hard dough-like stuff. then I added it into the chocolate and melted it, only to see my chocolate becoming super grainy and sandy. Fucking disappointed la. Then like a domino effect, it just led on to my dismay of the chocolate temperature, exceeding 50 degrees celsius into 54!!! FUCK. I lost every single bit of the thread, and fuck-cared about the rest of the experiment. 


I think I'm experiencing Rain-tempering effect. The power of rain when just by looking at it makes you lose patience and start 'abusing things'... Such a wasted day of ... ... ... tempering.


I guess I have to curb this ill being in me, and shower the chocolate with TLC, so that it gets turned out to be what I want it to be like. I am starting to think I am bored with my project. I have to hope that when the chocolatier comes next week, my spirit will come back, and burn like the Olympic torch. It's gotta be like that if I am wanting to do well in FYP.


Oh, there's still that evil-foul-smelling liquid of polyphenol I have to add in. Shitzzzz~


Now, whoever tries to irritate me when their actions looks as if they are, I will not entertain them. I mean it. I will show it, no matter what. Now, fuck off~

O-MY-GOODNESS I should not have done it. Now someone will be so happy and so excited. HAHA

Hweet!

I had started my lab session for FYP yesterday!!!

Okay. I took some bit of time to get all my barang-barang equipment. I saw my stock of chocolate. all in foil packets of red, and big, big blocks they were. (^o^)V ANd then there were unsalted butter, and the usual cocoa powder. I carried the whole carton to another lab: The lab for FYP.

I took loads of time to actually write, plan and describe in the lab notebook. So kia-su, now that I think of it. Huh, as if I was trying to go to a war. CHOCOLATE WAR...

Then I started to go wrong... I started melting the chocolate and forgot to actually melt the butter (to liquid) and pour in cocoa powder. Anyway, I think 40g of cocoa powder is enough to kill anyone with that bitterness. So I poured out the excess cocoa powder (haven't melted) and left a coating of it only. I don't want to make someone puke on my first attempt XP

Then, it was going wrong with the timings here and there. forgot when to add butter (I never checked on this), and cocoa powder, ended up with wrong measurements and things like that. HAIYO~ I even forgot to take out 1/4 of the chocolate for the reserve later. I don't know what went on in my head, dang it. Luckily I took it out before it completely melted.

But, oh, it was fun I swear. Seeing the chocolate initially made me LOL, cause it DOESN'T seem to be melting at all. Only a minute later the did I see some cocoa powder actually clumping and becoming wet and sticky. Cause if I placed the bowl of chocolate in direct heat, I think I will really produce 'chao-da' chocolate already. Then it melted... and melted... and melted... and melted... for I think about 30 minutes before everything was completely molten and liquid. YAY. Now I can melt chocolate like a pro.

*Sidetracks: I am irritated by people who have nothing better to do and comment so much of their encounters. And don't think flaunting off what you've got/had is being appreciated. I completely despise it. Like as if the whole world needs compulsory knowledge of you having/getting something. And before you comment on other people about their well-being, do the same thing to yourself before doing it. You'll find out that you are as equally gross as them. Oh please, for goodness sake... ... ... ... just shut that trap of yours. *Glares*

And so, let's move on with the wonders I had with making chocolates.

I got to the stage where I nearly burnt my chocolate. I forgot to skillfully control the temperature, so it kinda exceeded what was supposed to be. But some part of it was really satisfactory. I moulded my chocolate in a ceramic bowl, but I can't get the f**king chocolate out LOL. In the end I scraped it off. Might as well not mould it anyway. BUT I happened to get a piece with that luxurious, mirror like shine to it!!! Seriously not bluffing!! Even though my temperatures were exceeded, I still managed to produce that shine!!! It's like : WOW.

Okay. I managed to do quite good, considering it's only my first day of practice. Even Ms. Lim said it was not bad. (X o X) V

Anyway, I just wasted 3 pages of my lab notebook for a practice session. Great.

And now I am slacking my ass off, from 10 till now. So bloody distracted and ashamed of it. I MUST GO START PRACTICE AGAIN AT 1.00PM!!!
