What a long time since i have UPDATED...

Hi, for all those who have been yearning to see my blog updated, well... i'm updating it again.

I SERIOUSLY promise i will write more OFTEN after this whole stress thing is over... but for now...

Ok, so during this period of MIA on my blog, its still the same as usual, like working on weekends and schooling on weekdays. I feel like the stress is catching up with me, and I have SERIOUSLY MORE PIMPLES on my face. I pray hard they would just go away and vanish.

So, now... I'm legally a member of the Sakuran Cultural Club as from November 08. Coz last time I was just kidding around, not into their meetings. I didn't know that I got kicked out of it, but after like one more bloody chance given, I am into the club again. I like drawing since I discovered my flair, so I just can't let it sink down into nothingness... So far I had been to 3 official meetings, drawing victorian style anime and watching a Jap film--> Howl's Moving Castle

and it was nice, since I Loved Spirited Away as well. and then, speaking of Jap...

I COULD cosplay as him!?

Marlene was like, topping up my Laptop with wallpapers of anime and game pictures. She was the one getting me addicted into KOF: MI2!!!!!!!!! OMG if she never played this game in front of me, I would have NEVER touched it, or become a game ADDICT. Now I miss it every Wednesday and Friday... ... like, Marlene!!!!!! Vera wasn't bad, considering that she taught me the Jibberian language: Jibberish

He's cool - Kyo Kusanagi - Dashing

'Hierasslunkslleessssellunkkoluckswodersesssschlunkerndatunk!' :for you, Vera!

Marlene made me Anime-otaku along with my interest in German myself... ... I luv Jap+Deutsch+English+Chinese now! Ok, but I lose to her more often, like hello, I am still an amateur... she freaking played for 8 years... dear me...

Sometimes we [Me, Marlene, Vera and Udo] would go Lun-nering (Lunch+Dinner) after Deutschunterricht, and go places like PepperLunch, Mos, Sticky Rice or Foodcourts to fill up our tummies... those were the times I felt like I was splurging on food... :) I am supposed to save up for a phone [W902 with 5mp cam and clear audio exp.], yet I still do this, and even top up like $5-$10 for Arcade sessions. Damnn it man, can anyone TEACH me how to control my spending?

And there was the COMM SKILLS PROPOSAL: Presentation...

I was too tied up with the proposal, but I managed to squeeze out time to go shopping with my mom and sis [Bugis] on a Friday.

We walked aroung BHG [BE HERE for GOOD THINGS, Bixue... :) ] then bought a pair of formal shoes ($49.00!!!). Shopped all the way to Bugis Street...

(My sis was like saying to me how dashing this counter man looked.... advertising for the Gucci fruit-shaped Perfume... ok, my sis has good taste at last, since i Have to agree he looks good. I laughed at my sis saying that he's still looking at her after we are going... HAHA!)

Then we saw clothings, but I wanted to rip out my heart, coz i saw pants that I could've bought for $15 instead of $29.90!!! Seriously I am GOING back to Bugis for those really nice apparel...

The Presentation was tense: I had only 50 odd minutes to ACTUALLY START doing a presentation... but anyway, I did it. >Its like... how you know that it is that 10minutes, and fate would have been decided regardless what you do now. and you would be thinking: GO FOR IT... just that 10 minutes, then it is all decided. This I cannot explain, its just some feeling that, at that instant moment you would think of it this way.

I got a B+ for my presenting skills, not bad after all!!!! I am sooooooooooooooo delighted,

but then I got fail for my Biostats quiz... :(

next would be the Phsics quiz... ugh i shudder thinking of it right now sia...

Things at Pepper Lunch waas normal, just that I was under the shadow from alot of things...

Well, New menu's price has overall increased, with a few minor changes...

No more beef Bolognaise Pasta, but Chicken Bolognaise Pasta w/ Sausage

Both Teriyaki Steaks come with egg
ALL menu item except Teriyaki Steak Sandwich are able to be taken away

Small money increase in every thing sellable

No more cup-sized Pepper Rice

Yong Yu is now a SENIOR CAST! WTF, I can't tell if no one told me about it.

And YY has a GF... dots... that I find it weird... LOLs...

Anyway I get lesser Work hours every week... I want to work the whole day for Saturday, but ppl keep putting me at 5-11!!!!!

Not fair, its pathetic... I can accept Sundays for 6 hours, but on Saturday -> My earning day?! OMG I don't know the reason behind this... Weird sia...

But its facts ok, I am not cooking up things.

Maybe there Are really TOO many people working now, such that working hours have to be cut...

At this rate, I think I might just quit, coupled with the reason tt I can't cope.

working on weekends+Study+School!

I think its this oily and hot environment that makes my pimples explode out!!!

PL and NYP

Finally ... another school semester has started... which means that my work at PL must be DRASTICALLY reduced. Great, as that means every month I earn less. How to when I've got SOOOO much thingys to buy that I've wanted...
I'll show you just what I've thought of:
Handphone with 5MP cam,
MP4 (Zen X-Fi 16 GB with wireless)
New CLOTHES
New SHOES
New BAG
Contact Lenses
...Alot, yes I know...
{(: Peppery Events :)} Anyway ... around the last week before I returned to school, I was invited to a birthday chalet at Coasta Sands Resort, the thing being a combination of celebrating both Don & Jen's birthday. I was hesitating about staying overnight for it [coz of the irritating MINDS event], but then Don told me I could claim taxi fare from the company. So after I finished closing at Hougang [I am already good at both Service & Cashier Closing, just that I am a lil too slow :)] at 11pm, the closing staff rushed to Coasta Sands resort immediately.

So, when we arrived, the 1st thing was to cut the birthday cake. It was very nice to see so much concern between each other! I like... almost feel I have another family.... Anyway, when the cake was cut, it was IMMEDIATELY ignored [mind you it was ice cream cake] and the rest of the attention was on the stars opening their presents. You won't believe how many layers the presents were wrapped in. From a big package, it shrinked each time a layer of wrapping was removed. like the 'Box in a Box in a Box....' feeling. then, Jen got a PSP, and Don got a branded watch from the staff, as well as a new MP4[Sony Walkman series] from dear Jen. They were sure happy... :) hahaha...Anyway after that, there was the toasting ceremony with sparkling juice [0.o] with a few words from the manager. then we drank it in one gulp [yuuuuuuuuuuuuu-m seeeeeeeeeng!]:)This is the best part of it all. During closing, Joshua poked around the whole restaurant looking for things. He carried this nearly empty steak sauce container with him, putting whatever spices/powder/sauces/drinks he could find.I think he should have put :-Wasabi powder.-All the sauces you can find in Pepper Lunch, including those in the kitchen.-My half-drank coffee. [cold already]-All the powder and spices you can find in the kitchen.
All this created a unique concoction: Don & Jen's Birthday drink. And we forced them to drink one cup each [but strangely it smelt just like the BBQ sauce from MacDonalds, not sure about the taste ;( ].

They looked like they were going to empty whatever they had eaten before out onto the floor in front of them :)

Oh yes, only Don puked, and around a few times on the grass... saying about the horrible combination of curry sauce with wasabi powder. :)

Took photos> Don hasn't sent me the pics yet, so that'll have to wait about awhile. :( :(
Strangely, I woke up immediately the next day by Don. I do that if people other than my family member tries to wake me up, and is very difficult to be woken up by my family members. Why??? Hmmm... ... weird...

Anyway after that was the MINDS thingy... I practically have to rush back all the way to my home JUST TO get the lanyard, proper attire and shoes.seriously, it was a retarded event that wasted me like, 6 hours? But the MINDS friend that I met was quite well-behaved, as well as the few that my friends have gotten as well, including a couple looking like they are on their honeymoon. :) Sorry Fizah and Amir, but your clients are cute. XD After that, I went to buy Biostats and Physics FS lecture note from the bookshop. Seriously, the weather is SOOOOOOOO humid that I was so irritable. HOME SWEET HOME after that..... :)
I seriously don't want them to hold any birthdays for me :):):)

{NYP FAMILY}WEll, as the new semester has shone upon us, there are new modules of course. I hate some as well as love some :( :OrganicChem :)BioChemBioStatsCellBioProject1 :)CommSkillsGerman(OE) :)PhysicsFSWell... I hardly remember anything on the 1st day of school, except for being almost late on that day. 1st lesson was Biostatistics, and the teacher looked like the mum in Tong Xin Yuan [Ch8 Fishball drama episodes], and sounded like a mother caring for the child... haha. That was followed by Physics for Food Science, a SCARY one, I thought. but when I paid attention, [even though I dozed off sometimes] It wasn't that bad after all.Tuesday was even more fun, as we met the lecturer for the BioChem module. Mr. Alvin, quite strict, and doesn't talk that much. He kept emphasizing that KEY WORDS are the KEY to studying smart...Later at BioStats tutorial, we met Ms Betty Low, quite composed as well, and quite a sophisticated woman. Today [or yesterday], Our evil gang was a bit blur except me. Bi Xue used her ez-link card instead of her admin card to tap outside the LT, Wanwen said 'CL1201' when Yi Ting asked for the LOCATION of the Biochem lecture. Forgot about Jasmine, but Yi Ting was at the time where she came out of Biochem with 5 cm thick printed notes... went to South canteen only to say: 'buy notes and eat la...sry sry sry wat was i talking?!'

:):):)

[We played a prank after class [Q516]: Wanwen was asking for some qns after class, together with Woon Ching, Raymond & Shi Hui. We left them and stood outside, re-enacting the whole thing from outside. Like, they were being scolded when Ms Betty raised her hand or whatever. :) hahahahaha!]

On Wednesday, the whole topic was on Project1, as it was like, our freedom to create anything for our project. then our happy family was in a group, and on that day, we came at 9am, ended at 9.30am! We zoomed straight to CHINATOWN to take a look around. On the way there, Missy 1 and Missy 2 were playing at the back of the bus [cai quan], till I gave up emo-ing and joined them. We didn't know ppl were staring at us in front, till Ma'am informed me to shut our trap. Hai.... Kids are kids what, cannot force them one.We joked like, almost every few minutes, and Missy 1 was like having fits of laughter. They acted as tai tais all the way, and then joked bout branded stuff and meals etc. man, It was just a great time to chill out with my family! We had lunch at a complex [Beef Noodles dry set S$5.00]Then we were like, deciding what to do next, then this freakily 'retro' hokkien songs popped out from the neighbouring CD shop. Me and Jasmine mouthed the words coupled with LKK hand actions:'ai pia-ar jia eh yia.......' :)then the aunty eating next table looked at us.... hehe.... sorry la we are still young, not that matured what.
Wanwen then thought of this joke:'Why is Spiderman so gay?'ANS: the hands when he shoots out web.

:D :D :DPoor Wanwen, English not very good, some examples:Business in Madarin became...BU SI NI SI YIN MAN DA LIN
Boneless Chicken Rice became...BO NE LE SI QI KE EN LAI SI
Moustache became... MOUSTAGE
Bak Kut Teh became... BAK KU TEH... still got alot! I forgot already, WanWen please get a language tutor! :D

On Thursday after, we went to Geylang Serai... the rest of the family like, was so scared when they had to go there. Get It. And then, it was not what we had in mind of course. Just a lot more malays in that area. When I told them there was a rotting cockroach on the floor, they freaked out almost. Yi Ting was a bit uneasy after we arrive. LOLSThen we came back to school for lessons at 4pm. after that we rotted away at Mac in NYP, eating Vanilla Cone AGAIN [We had it already yesterday while touring Chinatown for info] and totally relaxes off. I tried my very best to Draw our Family Portrait, but up to now I've only drew 3 out of 5 [including myself :)]. Will post it up once I finsh the whole thing. :)Our[BX and I] bus came FIRST for the 1ST TIME!!!!!!!!!!! We were soooooooo elated, and had so much fun waving at them. You know what I mean, Ma'am?

Then today was not so much fun like the last 2 days, as the girls were all moody in the morning. :( I was like the only one that was ever cheerful, but no offences meant of course.

SOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!!!!

I'M BACK (LOL)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I have been speeding through work, till the point that I have forgetten to blog.

Don't Worry Ma'am and Sir and Missies and Marlene and Udo and Ernst, I will blog my fullest if I have the time and plus, internet.

:):):):):):):)

So far about my life at Pepper Lunch, it's pretty simple, just working till I am totally oblivious to social interaction. There was a few times when Don found a few faults with me, but there was always no hard feelings after that. I remembered this incident whereby I witnessed Don in another sticky situation. A man complained that the pepper rice he ordered was simply too salty. Don offered to replace it immediately, but then the man thought Don was trying to sabotage him by putting extra salt in the rice. Don said she wouldn't have done it, besides, why would she do it for? Losing another customer?

Then after the man got his replacement [thankfully he didn't have any more trouble after that], and finished it, he went to the counter and apologised to Don if there was any misgivings between them. THEY EVEN SHOOK HANDS WITH DON! It's like, a beautiful story that has this 'happily-ever-after' anding to the whole incident. After that, I asked Don how she felt. She replied me that it feels great to win over difficult customers in sticky situations, and that it spurs her on in her job....

O.0 haha.

Oh, speaking about STICKY, My Pop Goddess has kicked off her tour: Sticky and Sweet Tour. She started off in, I think ... somewhere called the Golden Circle in Cardiff? Although her costumes are really nice, sexy and praise her looks, i still think some are a bit too... skimpy. It's alright to dress like that, but too much wouldn't be a nice thing right?

Her opener, Candy Shop, totally drives me crazy as her previous Finale in her Confessions Tour, Hung Up. She was like, sitting on this Throne-like chair on the stage, and she made her way to the frontline crowd. The dancing part where she sang'MY SUGAR IS RAW' totally rocks a million times! Then she just ... scolded a few times in vulgarity, but that proves she's being who she wants to be. Solid right? Yeah, She's HARD [Now, where you're thinking???].

Her pictures totally is like candy to my mouth: SwEeT GaLoRe! Here are some pics from her tour:

STICKS HER TONGUE OUT!

So, I'm still waiting for the OFFICIAL version of the Tour... lets hope it can be PUBLISHED AND SOLD IN SINGAPORE!

A Yakult-y Experience... :)

Oh yay, finally another day to input some delicious info about school life... :)

We(FS0803) came back during Tuesday on the revision week, as we had to go for our 2nd Field trip.

Last time was to Gardenia Bread factory [Bread], the familiar brand with us.

This time it was Yakult [Dairy/ milk products], the ever-famous cultured fermented milk drink children seem to crave for... :D

I arrived at around 1pm, and went to get my CASIO Fx-82AU authorized in exam use, and then went to withdraw cash. On the way to the block P/Q, I met with utmost surprise, Madam and Missy1 on their way strolling as well. I walked slower than them and tagged along behind. On occasions I nearly got discovered when missy1 turned her head, but it was not till Missy2's appearance that I was found out. They had a shock at both BX and me, as we seemed to have 'changed hairstyles'. Indeed i have straightened my precious hair, but BX was only clipping up her fringe I think...

I got more attention when ppl started asking me how much the straightening costs, till the bus arrived. I sat next to Shi Hui and remained silent all the way to the factory...[ps: I was reading on PoE] :)

We alighted, and then proceeded to a small room for a briefing. Wow the briefing was real short... you should know what I mean... but overall, I LIKED IT, esp. the part where a bottle of untouched YAKULT was opened and then extracting a few drops with the straw. they were dropped onto something like a glass slide, then the kind gentleman [there to explain to us on the histories, the functions of Lactobacillus casei (Shirota strain) and the Bifidobacteria origin etc.] let us view the MICROSCOPIC view of what is in the yakult.

That, was right after he made us each drink down a can of YAKULT before everything else, including the presentation.

I was like, seeing a pool of tiny rod-shaped cells squiggling their way around each other. I was totally WOWED by the image, but Madam YT and alot of the others were like freaking out totall... You could hear those exclamations amongst the class:

"YUCKS we JUST SWALLOWED THAT INTO OUR STOMACH!"

"10 BILLION BACTERIA JUST SWALLOWED!"

"EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"SOooooooooooooooooooo CUTE!!!!!" > this was said by yours truly

:)

The man kept emphasizing on how Yakult is different from the other brands [pls, what other cultured milk drinks can you find in Singapore? Obvious right?] in terms of the strains of bacteria used>

"We use 3 types- L.casei SHIROTA STRAIN, Bifidobacteria and S.thermophilus, while the OTHERS use only 2 types: L.bulgaricus and S.thermophilus"

"Our Shirota strain L.casei has been studied and strengthened during the years to be able to get to the intestines alive. Thanks to Mr. Minoru Shirota, our genius founder."

... and he was also harping on about how pampered Singapore was:

"We only supply straws in the packages IN SINGAPORE, and 100ml bigger bottles IN SINGAPORE[65ml for the REST of the countries], and SINGAPORE IS THE ONLY COUNTRY HAVING THE 4 flavors-peach, orange, apple and grape. See how LUCKY we are? "

True. :)

Then after that he told us how these helpful bacteria can activate the Macrophages in the body to phagocytocize the candida cells, as well as activation the NK- cells in fighting cancerous cells. WONDERFUL, as in the scientific illustrations and real micoscopic videos of the BATTLE OF THE CELLS. cute sia :)

We then started our little walk around the factory seeing the various stages of production of Yakult. Which ended us in the end of the Yakult tour.
We became wonderful advertisers of YAKULT LOLS

NOTICE THE ALTERNATE SHADE IN THE JEANS? LOLS

We bought back Yakult {i bought Yakult Ace light, coz the seller said there were 'MORE BACTERIA' in this series LOLS I felt like correcting her. :) }

Don being splashed by ... mineral water.

oh dear such a busy week that i have no time to blog...

now i tell you more about my work @ Pepper Lunch before the week 16 of hectic presentations.

I was like, working into the evening, and then the whole restaurant was filled with people.
Full house, to be short. The crowds were like already queuing up FOR A SEAT, not TO BUY FOOD, but still, some people still want to challenge us and defiantly queue up, as though they have a table number. I am on the verge of panic of afraid of being reprimanded by Don, and at the same time I had to be FAST! Ooops.

I was like trying to split myself into 4 parts; one for attending to the waiting customers, one for clearing the mess after customers left, one for serving the hotplates and the last one for patrolling the whole area. Don was like nagging me to HURRY UP and be a multi-tasking machine, in a loud tone, and then i was trying my best to accomodate to her wishes, but still I managed to have a taste of CUSTOMER VIOLENCE. SuCkS big time.

There was this family of about 4 who was queueing up for food without a table tag, and Don asked me to tell them to queue up at the glass panel for a seat. The mother was like, ranting about a story claiming that i HAD a seat for her in such a CROWDED situation! she left the queue and tried to find a seat in the restaurant but obviously she CAN't get one. Don then sensed the 'simmering of the curry before the boiling' and came out to reason [in a polite manner] to her. But before she knew it, the sickened lady was somehow being rude and she THREW the cup of mineral water [free from Pepper Lunch] she was sipping onto Don. Luckily she must have failed in her accuracy test, or else Don would have to change clothes. :) [Don was even kind enough to say "THANK YOU MA'AM, THANK YOU!" after she [the sickened lady] left feeling embarassed]. Don questioned me whether I forgot to tell them they needed to queue up for a table, and I said she didn't even ask me. I swear I can hear her screaming and cursing like a madwoman in the kitchen :)

Then on 1 August [i think so?], i broke a pepper bottle after bringing it into the kitchen [joining tables need to do this as we do not want customers to waste sauces!]. I dunno whether Don was joking about deducting $10 from my account for that. Later on, I missed my grip and broke... ... another thing which is the table tag [L-shaped stand, and i broke it such that it wobbles when it stands]. Don looked at me and said : "I don't care, you bring it back to the factory and solder it back for me!" :) [I think not...]

Don then told me to work on National Day and agreed, but then she said : I Know u oni wan to work because of the 1.5X salary right? :) haha she guessed it right.
